I had a great time at the JR Inn in Chitose. The location next to the train station made it super convenient for traveling. The public bath on the second floor was a lovely touch after a long day. I really appreciated the availability of a pillow menu at the lobby, which allowed me to choose a pillow type that suited my comfort. The communal lounge area was cozy, perfect for relaxing, with a good selection of books and complimentary coffee. One issue I faced was that the room felt a bit cramped, and the breakfast options were not extensive, only a few meal sets available. Overall, it offered good value for the price.

Half amazing, half disappointing
Fantastic pillow menu enhances comfort! Also, the communal lounge with cozy seating and a good selection of books is perfect for unwinding after a day out.
The breakfast options were rather limited, only four meal sets to choose from.

My stay lasted 1 night, aimed at exploring the nearby attractions before heading to Sapporo. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station, making it just a short ride to the city center. I loved the modern decor of my clean room and was pleasantly surprised by the onsen included in the room price. The communal lounge was a wonderful place to unwind, providing an inviting atmosphere to relax after a busy day.

modern hotel, beautiful lounge/library, nice spa/bath
The shower head is frustratingly tiny, making the spray too harsh!!! The surroundings lack charm, feeling more like a stopover than a destination. A bigger food choice would definitely improve the experience!!!

Convenient stay near the airport
The proximity to the train station made exploring Hokkaido a breeze. The lounge was warm and inviting, with endless coffee and cozy seating perfect for relaxing after a day's adventures.
However, the room felt a bit cramped with luggage, and the limited breakfast options were somewhat disappointing. It could have offered a bit more variety to start the day right.

The public bath on the second floor adds a relaxing touch after a day of exploring, coupled with a cozy lounge area stocked with books and coffee. The selection of pillows available at the lobby significantly enhanced comfort for a good night's sleep. However, limited breakfast choices left much to be desired, and the room felt a bit cramped given the amenities available. The shower head could also use improvement for a more pleasant experience.

It was just a balanced option for a transient stop in Chitose with great value-to-price ratio. The communal lounge area was cozy, making it a nice spot to unwind after a long day. Try checking out the nearby Yayoi restaurant for breakfast if you don't mind simple meals.
